About Heather Ahrens
Heather Ahrens has 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and 5 years as a Nurse Practitioner. She has specialized in both OBGYN and Family Practice. She is board certified as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Heather received her BSN from Florida State University in 2004. She was licensed as an RN and gained experience working in both Florida and Colorado in the settings of OBGYN and Emergency Medicine. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University in early 2014 and obtained her ARNP license. She has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner in the setting of OBGYN and primary care since graduation.
She enjoys being able to provide comprehensive care to her patients thus eliminating the need for both an OBGYN and a primary care provider. She also enjoys spending time with her patients to make sure they fully understand all aspects of their care. These characteristics embody the holistic care perspective Heather embraces in her practice.
In her time outside of the office Heather enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and long distance running.

I was 5 minutes late due to traffic. It was a 30 minute drive. they had me fill out all the paperwork then proceeded to tell me the doctor could not see me due to me being late. I explained to them my drive and the traffic. They didn't care and made me reschedule so I'll have to have an hour round trip drive yet again after already having to do the drive today for no reason.
