Dr. Kimble specializes in the interaction between physical and mental health in adults. Whether the physical illness is causing emotional distress, or one’s mental and emotional health is having a negative impact on their life, Dr. Kimble focuses on the whole person and how she can work with each individual to bring them closer to their goals. Dr. Kimble has had considerable experience working with individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, acute/chronic pain, and many other medical conditions. She respects the strength and resiliency in each person and enjoys helping them transition through difficult situations to create a better life for themselves.
Dr. Kimble earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University with a specialty in Health Psychology. She completed her internship at the Salem VA Medical Center and her post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Virginia Pain Management Clinic. She is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas and has been practicing for over 10 years including providing telehealth services since October 2015. Before joining LifeStance Health, she had most recently been Clinical Director for MedOptions in Texas providing mental health services to individuals in assisted living, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation facilities and providing clinical mentoring to other mental health professionals across the state. Outside of work, she has been a hospice volunteer as well as volunteering for the Red Cross in Disaster Mental Health both during disasters and as a part of the Disaster Mental Health Leadership Council.
