My experience so far has been stellar. This is my first time seeking care for mental health, so I was very nervous. I’ve had two visits so far and only had issues with the office hours since I do live out of state but Dr.Wilkinson and her team have been very helpful. It was very affirming having a doctor who understood my cultural background and how that has affected my experiences. Overall it’s been very validating, I feel heard and understood and very positive about my treatment with them.

I'm Dr. Carole Wilkinson – a nationally recognized Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). I hold a Master's in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing and a Master's in Business Administration from Adelphi University, as well as a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Post-Master's Certificate from the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies.
I believe in treating the whole person, not just the immediate crisis. My goal is to help you develop better coping strategies, experience more positivity, and gain greater peace with your thoughts. Together, we'll explore inspirations, struggles, emotions, memories, and obstacles. Healing happens through meaningful relationships and improving your quality of life.
I have experience working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, anger, guilt, or self-doubt. I can help you navigate challenges that feel overwhelming alone. I specialize in evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), designed to enhance mental well-being and improve coping skills. Additionally, I provide medication management and treatment for anxiety, depression, mood disorders, panic attacks, and addiction/substance abuse.

Had a wonderful experience, except they never got back with my pharmacy to get me a refill on the medication they prescribed. So got to adjust to a new medication just to immediately adjust to not having it, pretty much a waste of my time and money. Going on 3 weeks unmedicated.

It was my first session. My provider was Phillip. He is a great listener and he made me feel very comfortable. He also helped coordinate my care with my other specialists! I would have given the office 5 stars if I did not have to call 5-6 times and repeat my request multiple times with different front desk staff members. I was struggling mentally more than ever, did a Zoom meeting with this Drs office, the staff including Jeremy and David were over the top relentless on getting me the medication I desperately needed. They kept in contact with me all day and updated me on finding the medication and by the end of the work day they told me where to go and that my prescriptions were ready for me. I haven’t met this staff in person yet, I have an office appointment on Nov.3rd and can’t wait to thank them in person for saving my well being. Im forever grateful for their persistence in making the extra strides and improving my mental status and my horrible situation. I would recommend doctor Wilkinson to anybody that that was looking for a psychiatrist.
She is a excellent communicator and is able to explain things in terms that I understand and It's very helpful with any questions I have.
I looked for a psychiatrist for a long time that I could trust and Anne communicate with and she is and she is absolutely excellent.
My insurance does not cover her but in my eyes that does not matter because she is so good at Helping me understand and trying to get my medication to where it works the best for me. She is very knowledgeable on her medications and does research And them before prescribing them.

The doctor is excellent at her job and a wonderful person. I absolutely adore her.
However I haven’t been able to contact her which is a huge issue. It’s been over two weeks and I’ve heard nothing back despite leaving several voice mails, text messages etc…
This is a major issue for someone like me with a lot of questions and concerns. It’s clear the DR is too busy to take on anymore clients at the moment. I do not recommend her as you will not receive the attention and feedback that you would normally expect.

This woman is the most attentive, compassionate, and genuine Dr. I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She listened to me and addressed some mental health issues I have that no other doctor had ever even brought up with me before. She is by far the absolute best doctor I've ever seen. Amazing provider! Only criticism is that her computer/microphone/internet set up needs work. There were outages and it was really hard to hear. Obviously doesn’t prevent me from seeing her again but better internet or webcam and mic would make the appointment SO MUCH EASIER
