Hello, I'm Susan. I hold a Master's Degree in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. With 19 years of experience in the Houston education system, including fourteen years working with middle school children and eight years as a middle school counselor, I have a wealth of experience in supporting adolescents and their families through the unique challenges of this developmental stage of life. I am deeply passionate about guiding both young people and adults in creating meaningful goals and exploring the answers they hold within themselves to overcome the challenges they may be facing. I take pride in building strong, trusting, and long-lasting positive rapport with my clients. Life has many ups and downs, and as your therapist, I seek to help you navigate any challenges life throws at you. I am a compassionate listener who will help you find the positive pathway to adjusting and coping with these challenges. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental zone where you can feel comfortable and positive, incorporating humor while keeping it real.
