Dr. Carolyn Kibel graduated New York Chiropractic College in December of 1980. She has been practicing in the same location for 40 years serving the health and wellness needs of the Plainview community. Dr. Kibel attended the State University of New York at Buffalo before attending N.Y.C.C. She has lived on Long Island her whole life and raised her son and daughter here as well. When she is not at the office, you can find her biking, skiing, walking the beach or at a dog park with her yellow lab, Emma.
Dr. Carolyn Kibel has been heard on local radio WBAB and has lectured extensively all over Long Island. You may have heard her at The Plainview Library, The Jericho Library, The Plainview Y, The Commack Y, and many other sisterhoods, brotherhoods and church and civic groups. Dr. Kibel served as a wellness consultant for Cablevision and has taught seminars in health and wellness to the employees of Grumman, Fiserv, Cablevision and many other corporations that are based on Long Island.
Dr. Kibel has hundreds of hours of training in clinical nutrition with the Institute of Functional Medicine as well as post doctoral studies. She has recently met the requirements of the FirstLine Therapy therapeutic lifestyle certification program and is a certified FLT Healthcare Provider. First Line Therapy is based on extensive research demonstrating that many of the chronic diseases associated with aging, such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol. metabolic syndrome and more can be prevented or even treated by adopting a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Kibel is also certified in the ProAdjuster technique and is proud to say that she has now adjusted 4 generations of many local families over her 40 year experience in chiropractic. Dr. Kibel puts the "care" back in healthcare.
