She is so warm and friendly! I only came for a small concern, and it turned out to be nothing. She pointed out a mistake another office made, very knowledgeable. This is a ob/gyn office but she is also a general practitioner; I do intend on making her my primary, she made my first visit a wonderful one.

Nurse practitioner Carolyn Zaumeyer has been specializing in women’s health (gynecology) for more than 20 years. She is the author of two books and more than 27 publications, and is an established public speaker, appearing nationally and internationally at more than 80 conferences.
After establishing the first independent nurse practitioner practice in Florida in 1994, Carolyn has become a well-known expert and resource for nurse practitioners embarking on business ownership.
She currently provides quality care to women of all ages at her practice, Women’s Awareness, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her expertise includes general practice with a specialty in gynecology, adolescent medicine, early detection of cancer, menopausal management, abnormal pap smears, contraception, weight loss, sclerotherapy, nutrition, and functional medicine.
Carolyn is dedicated to providing the highest level of compassion and care to her patients. She stresses a combined effort with her patients to help them develop and personalized strategy to promote health and wellness.
Over the years, Carolyn has served as an adjunct faculty member at Broward College, Florida International University, and Florida Atlantic University in their nursing and graduate studies programs.
She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the South Florida Council of Advanced Practice Nurses, Women in eCommerce, National Association of Women Business Owners, and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.

I found Carolyn Zaumeyer, NP here at ZocDoc and I am so glad I did. The front office staff was warm and friendly. The woman (I should have gotten her name, I will next visit), took a blood sample painlessly. I felt that the office was a bit warm temp wise. Within seconds of stating such, she ran and turned the air down immediately.
Carolyn Zaumeyer, NP was fantastic. Thorough, gentle, caring, and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely be returning for any and all future medical needs. Thanks to everyone for making my visit a great one.

I've never felt so comfortable going to any doctors office before. The receptionists were friendly and the appointment was stress free.
