Casie Young is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner working for Transformations Care Network. Casie was born and raised in Northern Virginia, graduating from George Mason University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration. She went on to advance her education by obtaining a second bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2006. Her nursing career was spent working as inpatient labor and delivery nurse and was eventually promoted to assistant nurse manager. As an assistant nurse manager, she worked closely with the nurses throughout the women and children’s center including labor and delivery, NICU, postpartum, and lactation.
As a board-certified PMHNP, Casie focuses on the medication management of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder through a caring, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach. As a mother of 3 children combined with her extensive experience in caring for peripartum and postpartum patients, she hopes to raise awareness of the mental illness and reduce the stigma associated with mental illness during these critical times in a woman’s life.

I believe she meant well but I didn't feel like she was receptive to my concerns which led to further problems. Also no possible way of contacting her after the meds I were prescribed made me manic.
