Dr. Thomas was exposed to the medical field from a very young age as both her parents were physicians. She received her medical degree from Medical College, Kottayam, Kerala, India in 1989 and did her residency in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL from 1993 – 1996.
She worked in a private practice in Oak Park, IL for 7 years and then in long term care for 1.5 years before she joined Dr. Robert Reeder in 2007. In January of 2010, she took over the reins and has been the primary physician in the practice since then.
Dr. Thomas believes in spending time with her patients and taking care of them in the outpatient setting, during hospitalizations and in the long term care setting whenever that is needed. Her special interests are long term management of chronic illness like hypertension, diabetes, cardiac and respiratory illness as well as caring for the elderly.
Dr. Thomas is board certified in Internal Medicine and a member of the American Medical Association. She resides in Wheaton with her husband and three children. She enjoys reading, gardening and sewing for leisure.

Office staff was very friendly, although the doctor would not look me in the eye. She kept cutting me off, and a couple of the issues I brought up she completely ignored. Then she refered me out to three other doctors. Very impersonal!
