Cathy Liu is a careful, warm acupuncturist treating patients in Houston, Texas, and the surrounding communities. She strives to improve the lives of people she treats by sharing her experience and using her knowledge. In practice for more than 30 years, she has helped thousands of patients and accumulated extensive clinical experience in treating various chronic and acute health disorders. Dr. Cathy Liu is the founder and president of the AAA Acupuncture Center. She holds licensing from both the Texas Board of Medical Examiners and the Texas Board of Acupuncture Examiners.
In order to pursue her medical education, Dr. Liu attended one of China’s premier universities for Chinese medicine. At a prestigious hospital in China, she completed a residency program garnering her experience in both traditional and Western medicine. She also conducted research on the treatment of cancer through combined acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Western medical treatment.
Patients visiting Dr. Liu can receive a full range of traditional medicinal services. She performs acupuncture, acupressure, auricular therapy and detoxification, cupping therapy, Tuina therapy, Moxibustion therapy, and Chinese herbal medicinal treatment. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Liu enjoys reading, travelling, cooking, and eating.

She's wonderful at what she does she's just running the clinic alone so my hour appointment was 45 minutes late then it took about two hours! I was not planning on spending so much time there! She then offers lots of herbal remedies--- I guess this could be a good thing unless you're like me and aren't really interested in more than the appointment.
