Just a very pleasant experience overall. I feel confident that my issues will be resolved thanks to the staff for being so welcoming, informative, and understanding. I was spoken to in a way that I was able to understand everything that was going on and not spoken to in a confusing way with medical lingo that I wasn’t able to understand. Everyone worked well in their rolls. I’m really glad I found this Gyno office after not get empathetic quality care.

great location and hours after work and weekends. only issue is the wait! they will have you waiting for an hour. every one is pleasant though so if you can deal with the wait this is a decent location. it's in an old building and needs an update but it's clean.

As a transgender man, it’s difficult to find doctors and environments where I feel comfortable. I called the office in advance to make sure that the staff had experience with transgender patients, and they were very kind from the beginning. The doctor who treated me made me feel heard, comfortable, and better informed about my conditions. However, the wait times are ridiculous. I waited more than two hours to be seen! If you have the option, try to book your appointment for the morning when it’s likely to be less backed up.
Great doc and friendly staff!

Do not go to Dr Chapman. I went in the hopes of getting an IUD. I was advised not to get one, without doing a prior examination to medically justify his assessment. He suggested I get a vaginal ring as a form of contraception since it would be more time-consuming to get an IUD with the fitting and for it to get approved by my insurance. The he asked what I wanted in life. I replied to move up the career ladder and then hopefully in the right circumstance have children. He asked whether I was in a relationship with a good *man,* I said I was, so he told me I should start trying for children now since I'm 31. I didn’t come for his personal advice. I had done my research. Then he informed me he was going to ask some questions. He didn’t consult a list and just scribbled things down. They ranged from how many sexual partners I’ve had to what age I first had sex. He couldn’t maintain eye contact. I left Dr. Chapman’s office without starting the process of getting an IUD. I left rattled.

I didn’t see the Dr.Kaplan. It was another Dr. But she was very nice. And everyone was nice to me and very attentive. Highly recommend

The experience I had with this doctor was amazing would recommend him to anyone 10/10. However would definitely recommend at a different location, the office was way out of order. I got there for my 2:30 appointment and the receptionist announced they have no doctor come back at 5pm. I was a little upset by it but I let it slide because that’s not their fault then I get there at 5 and I’m not seen until 7pm. The wait time was just awful, and the bathroom….you can just tell anyone hardly attends to it.
I went here because my regular gyno was booked for the next 6-8 weeks and I needed to see some ASAP. Given that I booked the appointment on short notice, I was able to be seen in the next few days on the weekend. Now, I know that the weekends are normally busier, but I did not expect to wait 1.5-2 hours to be seen. The doctor was fine, he did his job and listened to me. We talked for about 10 minutes and he suggested some actions to take, and then directed me to the next room where he would test me next. I was left in that room for quite a while before the doctor came back into start. The staff was very nice and did their job well. The space is very small.. imagine someones living room-size (because it is). Overall the practice is just fine, but I would not return unless it is an emergency because there was nothing exceptional that would bring me back. Be PREPARED to wait because the time length/expectations are not clarified..
I was preoccupied by some gynecological problem and I made an appointment to be seen on the same day. As my husband wasn't home, I decided to go with my daughter praying that they would let me in and they were so indulgent and nice with my 2 years old. Plus doctor took his time with me asking all the necessary questions and staff was wonderful! that was a great experience. Hope it stays that way

I had a great visit today with the doctor. He was very friendly and his staff were supper friendly and made me feel uncomfortable and even though he doesn’t deal with pregnancy. I left that appointment more informed than I started especially for my first pregnancy. I’m so happy to have found a wonderful doctor in my area and if I ever need Gynecologist care. This will be my number one stop.

Honestly I booked three different gyns on zocdoc. because I’m new to NY. I deal with fibroids and pcos so finding the right doctor AND getting different opinions is very important for a patient dealing with the same or similar condition as me. This was my last apt out of the three and I was skeptical. My first appointment was with a black female doctor dr.meikle, I thought this would be the optimal option for me because I’m also black and often times black women aren’t taken seriously or given the proper care in the hospital. Needless to say at that apt I never got a chance to meet her it was a random provider. Read a review about her and realized shes not very supportive. Next Dr.Niznikiewicz. I called his office & he answered like it was his personal numb I thought odd where’s ur receptionist. Read his reviews and immediately canceled see why for yourself! Finally I came here I was nervous bcuz he’s a male doc. I left feeling heard, safe and more knowledgeable about my condition! Thx
The wait time and cleanliness was awful
Extremely mismanaged office. Took 2 hours before I was even seen and came close to bailing many times. The waiting room was absolutely packed and I had to wait in the hallway with other guests when I arrived due to how crowded it was. On top of that there were guests not wearing masks. Entire experience was extremely unsettling, and unsafe given the current covid surge in NYC.
