She completed her residency in Internal medicine and Fellowship in Endocrinology and Diabetes from University of Illinois, at Chicago. She is passionate about treating patients with insulin resistance, diabetes, thyroid disorders and osteoporosis. She also exhibits expertise and loves treating patients with adrenal and pituitary dysfunctions, and hormone replacement therapy. She has been ranked multiple times among Phoenix Top Physician. She has been involved in teaching residents both at St. Joseph's Hospital as well as Honor Health, and developing their curriculum. She strives to make her treatment plan the best that is for every patient regardless of any pharmaceutical influence, and she does not have affiliation with any pharmaceutical companies.
When she's not practicing, she likes to read medical journals and publication to keep up on current medical knowledge. She says since the human genome has been decoded and studied, our knowledge has changed vastly and continuously, and there has been medical advancement in leaps and bounds. It is a very interesting and rewarding time to be in medical practice, at present.
In her free time, she loves traveling all over the world with her husband and daughter, she dabbles a little in painting, she enjoys writing poetry, and devours murder mystery novels.

Dr. Mishra was very compassionate. Her PA gathered my pertinent history; documented my relevant concerns. When Dr. Mishra came in, she immediately acknowledged my complex health issues I disclosed; answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed and made me feel involved in my care collaboratively,while reflecting back on all the next steps we need to tackle to come up with a solid treatment plan. Furthermore, several additional tests I requested were widely accepted based on my situation, and even added onto that appointment without having to schedule additional office visits to complete. They were really friendly and patient and transparent, especially on possibility of those additional tests financial costs.

The office was very kind! The front desk staff was so nice and helpful when checking in. My PA was sweet and talked to me in a way that felt like it was a conversation not just being tolerated. I had another appointment later and they were timely and it was easy to set an appointment for labs and follow up.
