Chantal’s interest in nutrition began in college after taking a class on Human Nutrition and Food, and deepened when she continued to learn about how food and lifestyle impacts overall health. Chantal has training in Medical Nutrition Therapy supporting both adults and children with a variety of conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, weight management and disease prevention/wellness. Additionally, Chantal has a passion for the area of plant-based nutrition for human and planetary health.
Chantal believes that all people deserve compassionate nutritional care and practices with a HAES (Health at Every Size) informed, client-centered approach. She finds joy in learning about her clients' food beliefs and habits, and collaborating to find the best individual approach for each person.
Chantal graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Michigan State University and completed her Dietetic Internship at Bluffton University in Ohio. In her free time, Chantal enjoys trying new plant-based recipes, playing with her border collie and 2 cats, spending time with family and friends, and being active outdoors hiking, climbing, running and cycling.
