Dr. Charles Glassman received his medical degree from TUFTS University. He then went on to complete a Surgical Internship and Urology Residency at the University of California in San Francisco at Moffitt Hospital. From there, he went to the Mayo Clinic where he was the 1st Fellow in Pediatric Urology. At Mayo, he also trained with Dr. William Furlow, the father of inflatable penile prosthetic surgery for erectile dysfunction.
Dr. Glassman returned to New York and has been in private practice in White Plains since 1979. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology. At White Plains Hospital Medical Center, Dr. Glassman has served as Chief of Urology from 2002 through 2006 and President of the Medical Staff from 2003 through 2004. He has consistently been listed in the Castle Connelly “Best Doctors of New York” publication.
Currently, he serves as a Trustee on the White Plains Hospital Board of Governors. His special interest continues to be Pediatric Urology and surgery for erectile dysfunction as well as minimally invasive surgery for BPH.
Along with his partner Dr. Seth Lerner, they form the Robotic surgery team at White Plains Hospital Medical Center, which is the largest such service in Westchester and lower Connecticut.

Dr. Glassman seems like a warm and funny doctor. I loved his bedside manner; however, we did have to wait for 1 hour 10 minutes to be seen, which was not great.
