I have only had one visit . The doctor was fine, but it was over two hours Before I was see by the doctor. I even called the office in the morning to verify my appointment and time. I later received the email confirmation which my initial confirmation said was neded from the doctor's . After twice asking the receptionist when I would be seen by the DR., I was then told that my appt. was an hour later than my twice confirmed time. I even my text message reminder on my cell showing my confirmed time. The office scheduler then said that Zoc Doc made the wrong appt. time. The office would not admit an error. Zoc Doc was blamed several times. This, I might add, coming after I even called in the morning to verify the appt. and time.

A Havertown native, Dr. Charles J. Odgers initial interest in orthopaedics developed as a result of a knee injury sustained while playing football his junior year at Haverford High School. An eagerness to pursue the field of orthopaedic surgery led him to a challenging premed program at Ursinus College where he graduated cum laude with Academic All-American honors. He was later inducted into the Ursinus College Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in both football and wrestling.
Dr. Odgers received his medical degree from Temple University in 1992 where he earned Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He then completed an orthopaedic surgical residency at Thomas Jefferson University in 1997 while receiving the resident award for kind and compassionate patient care. After spending four years in the US Air Force as a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and department vice chairman specializing in sports medicine and joint replacement surgery, Dr. Odgers returned to the Philadelphia area and received specialized training in shoulder and elbow surgery.
In 2001 Dr. Odgers joined the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Center. His special interests include shoulder and elbow surgery, arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow and knee, and joint replacement surgery. In addition, he provides orthopaedic care for several local teams and sporting events. Dr. Odgers is actively involved in several charitable organizations including the Bethesda Project, Friends in Action, and the Children of the Father Foundation.
