More about Dr. Cherian Sajan, MD
Dr. Cherian K. Sajan is a pain management doctor at National Pain Institute, and was named one of the top 10 pain physicians in the Orlando area in 2012.
After graduating from St. Johns Medical College in Bangalore, India, Dr. Sajan moved to the United States to serve others with his pain management skill set. He brings a unique perspective to the pain management field due to being classically trained as an orthopedic surgeon in India.
Being born into a family of teachers, Dr. Sajan has always had a unique appreciation for the learning process and meeting goals. From a young age he wanted to be a doctor so he could make a difference in patient’s lives.
When asked why he became a physician, Dr. Sajan humbly stated, “I was determined to be a physician and help those in need with a helping hand. The hard work, dedication, and caring nature of all physicians that I came across inspired me to be like them.”
Dr. Sajan’s favorite part of being a doctor? “I love helping patients in their most vulnerable moments. Being part of the team that helps them return to normal functioning is very satisfying.”
When Dr. Sajan isn’t busy helping his patients at National Pain Institute get their lives back, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sheena Jose, (also a doctor) and three young daughters.
