I am in solo practice using an integrated approach to early adolescent and young adult medicine. This is a general medical practice where I manage issues specific to children 10 years of age up to 35 yrs of age. My specialty areas include fully integrating the mental health concerns with the physical aspects of medicine, specifically with ADD/ADHD,anxiety, social problems, depression, eating disorders and substance use. Parenting teens can be a whole new experience after years of raising young children. As parents you have the day to day experience that has built a deep understanding of your children. But teens are different and sometimes more difficult to understand. With adolescents you may find yourself needing a new level of insight, support and guidance from your child's physician.

What do I think? I think she misrepresented herself as taking my insurance when she really didn't and then avoided my phone calls for months. The whole situation was so shady, it has really scared me about using zocdoc in general; it taught me that I have to personally call my insurance to ensure the doctor zocdoc listed isn't lying about being under my plan. Really think that should be something zocdoc handles because this situation was outrageous. The word fraud comes to mind.
