Welcome to my Office! As your Ophthalmologist I will provide you and your family with preventative-routine eye care, as well as medical and surgical treatments of the visual pathway. I have practiced Ophthalmology in Medford, New Jersey for over twenty years. At my office you will receive 100% of my time as I alone will perform your eye examination. My goal is to fully explain to every patient my clinical findings on their eye exam, welcome, and will thoroughly answer your questions. If your visual problems fall out of my areas of expertise, I will co-ordinate your care as needed, with local Ophthalmic Sub-Specialists with whom I have developed a strong relationship, while remaining as your Primary Ophthalmologist. My first concern is that each patient receives the best in care. In addition to my office, I am available for inpatient Consultations at the Virtua Hospital (Voorhees, Marlton, Berlin, Divisions) and I perform outpatient eye surgery at Surgical Center of South Jersey in Mt Laurel, N.J. I also perform laser surgery at the Virtua Eye Diagnostic Treatment Center, Marlton, New Jersey. I am an In Network Specialist with a variety of Health Insurance Plans and my staff will assist you in answering your insurance questions. I truly value the trust I have earned from patients over the years in selecting me as their Ophthalmologist. I look forward to meeting you.

Visit was great. Dr. Mitchell gives undivided attention to each patient which is very positive; however, that at times can be a negative. It was not a very busy time of my appointment and thought I would have been completed way much earlier than I expected. I was very please when Dr. Mitchell informed she has evening hours which would be more beneficial to me the next time. I will definitely continue my care with Dr. Mitchell especially that she made me felt comfortable. She was very thorough and explained every step of the examination. For my first time at the office, Dr. Mitchell seemed to enjoy every aspect of what she does. As an added bonus, she is very approachable.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Mitchell for 15 years. She performed our Cataract Surgery. We have moved to Florida but I still make my annual trip to Medford just so that she can examine my eyes. I only trust her to care for me.

Dr. Mitchell came out just to see me on a snowy day in February when I was seeing spots in my eyes. The hospital sent me to her office and she formed a tear in my retina. She saw me at 10:00 PM that night.
