About Dr. Pinal Dave

Pinal Dave, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Salus University in Philadelphia, graduating in 2014, with Honors, in Clinical Sciences. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Temple University. Dr. Dave specializes in fitting patients with rigid gas-permeable lenses and scleral lenses for keratoconus, dry eyes, and other corneal diseases. She is passionate about helping her patients and seeks the best technology for treating each patient's condition. Providing comprehensive eye exams for both adult and pediatric patients, Dr. Dave completed the pediatric advance track at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which allows her to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with amblyopia, strabismus ("eye turns"), and binocular vision issues. She is certified as an Orthokeratologist. Orthokeratology is a specialty focused on reducing the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) as children grow. Dr. Dave provides clinical eye exams with therapeutic management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy. Dr. Dave is married with two children and has a passion for dancing. She is also a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan.
