After graduating from Kansas State University with a Bachelor's in Food and Nutrition, I have worked in a variety of settings-hospital, consultant for nursing homes, school food service and education, outpatient counseling, and as a virtual dietitian. I have had a few years that caused havoc in my body. I battled IBS, high blood sugars, and hormonal issues. After I made myself a priority again, my health improved. I completely understand what women and mothers must do in life to live and feel their best. I am a mom of three teen children and have been married to my husband for 22 years! I have taught all my children to cook, be active year-round, and live life to the fullest. For fun, I enjoy traveling around the world, reading a good suspense novel, playing tennis and pickleball, and dinners with family and friends.
