My name is Dr. Chima Asikaiwe, MD. I am a board-certified psychiatrist with subspecialty training in Geriatric psychiatry. I have over 15 years of experience in caring for patients with psychiatric and psychological disorders. I help patients suffering from the following disorders; depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, bipolar, mood, sleep, and other psychiatric conditions. I also treat children with psychiatric disorders, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, and Autism. Psychotherapy treatment is available when necessary.
?At the initial visit, my clients are greeted with a warm welcome, thus initiating the process for the patient and provider to establish rapport and understanding gradually. I work with a team of therapists, counselors, and psychologists to provide comprehensive care because we believe if the patient is healthy and stable, the patient and their family are happy.
My goal is to keep patients healthy, stable, functional, and productive. I work closely with the patient's family to provide support and education to understand the condition and participate in the care and support for their loved one.
The clinic is open Monday through Friday 9 am - 4.30 pm, Saturdays- 9 am - 1 pm, and located in a quiet and private office setting, with handicap accessible parking. Your comfort and privacy are my highest priorities, and I am pleased to provide an inviting and therapeutic atmosphere.

Greathope Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services focus on personalized, detail-oriented care, and Dr. Chima Asikaiwe strives to be readily available to address patients’ needs whenever they may arise. We understand that for many, visiting a doctor can be a stressful experience. Our comfortable surroundings and compassionate medical professionals will ease your fears.
