Dr. Chin Oh Kim graduated from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. He joined the International Center of Interdisciplinary Studies of Immunology at Georgetown University Medical Center. While there, he published many articles in leading scientific journals. Dr. Kim completed his residency in internal medicine at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV.
Dr. Kim moved back to northern Virginia after his residency and founded the Virginia Advanced Medical Center, where he has made compassionate care and patient service his first priority. Dr. Kim is also in charge of the health fair, which is held on the fourth Saturday of each month.

My appointment was at 1pm. The office was closed for lunch until 1pm. Office staff did not speak clear English and hard to understand. I was the 1st person in the office and last person to be seen. The doctor did blood work and once I called to get the results nobody in the office seemed to know who I was or what I was calling about. I'll never recommend him to anyone. I can't believe he had such good reviews

Seemed unwilling to really take interest. We barely talked for 10 minutes and he was already writing a prescription for antibiotics and sending me off to an ultrasound without a even trying physical exam. Sending me for an expensive test right away didn't sit right with me.

Dr Kim and his staff are very friendly and I felt at ease with my first visit. He's probably the first doctor I've seen in Virginia that actually seems to care about bedside manner. He resolved my medical needs and that's what counts the most!

I found that Dr. Kim has a good bedside manner and was very attentive while taking the history during the visit. He also allowed for dialogue during the visit and for me that's an important component. I had the experience of seeing a doctor and feeling shorted and rushed and it was refreshing that he is one that he took a reasonable amount of time to resolve the issue.
