Dr. Chirag Dave is a native of Smyrna, GA and attended The Walker School in Marietta, GA. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Illinois, Chicago, where he graduated with honors. He then earned a Doctorate of Medicine from Northeast Ohio Medical University where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. He completed a general surgery internship and urology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan where he gained considerable experience in general urology and advanced endoscopic, laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Dr. Dave completed a fellowship in genitourinary reconstruction, sexual and male reproductive medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Maryland.
Dr. Dave specializes in all aspects of general urology, with a particular interest in erectile dysfunction, voiding dysfunction, male infertility and andrology, and complex genitourinary reconstruction. Dr. Dave has published numerous manuscripts and textbook chapters related to prosthetic surgery for erectile dysfunction, male infertility, voiding dysfunction, renal biopsy, and healthcare quality. His research has been well received at numerous national and international meetings.
Dr. Dave is passionate about helping his patients return to normal function. He is a strong patient advocate and believes in collaborative decision making to achieve the best outcomes. Dr. Dave is very excited to come back home and serve the community that raised him.
Outside of urology, Dr. Dave enjoys skiing, golf and tennis. He is an avid Atlanta sports fan, and enjoys world travel with his wife.
