Patient reviews for Dr. Chitoor Govindaraj
This was the worst appointment I've ever had in MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!! He strolled in over 2 hrs late, and didn't even bother to say hello as he walked in passing patients, He was very combative and even went as far as telling me he doesn't believe me about my Diagnosis that I've had since I was 3 months and have been treated for numerous amount of times, and he told me I can go to another doctor, and kept arguing with me about how long he's been a Dr. Lastly, It smells like a basement with water damage. Trust and believe I will not ever return to this unprofessional establishment. I've never been treated in such manner EVER!
Really good doctor. Takes the time to listen to your concerns and come up with the correct treatment plan.Highly recommend. Only downside is wait time is long.
I explained to this doctor that I had previously been diagnosed with an allergic reaction to penicillin and he prescribed me a different medication which I had a reaction to he became impatient with me and advised me to take it anyway I’m never going back
So friendly and helpful. I'm really glad I gave him a chance.
I love this doctor he is thorough and extremely personable. Great and knowledgeable doctor
Very pleasant and knowledgeable treats his patients like family he really cares that’s an amazing doctor and his staff are awesome!
IM CHANGING DOCTORS
He is nice
The whole office is very kind and helpful. Dr. Govindaraj was professional and friendly. I highly recommend his practice.
Very nice, thorough & professional. The staff was also very polite & professional.
I loved his sense of humor and general interactions.
The office is way overbooked and very disorganized. I had to wait nearly 2hrs before seen by the doctor. I have to look for a new Internist/Pulmenologist.
He was rude, give me a list to see other doctor I didn't ask for ,front desk to the assistance not friendly.
I have to wait to long then he rush me after the 10 minutes conversation.
I was satisfied with the doctor .
Dr G was very friendly and had great bedside manner. He was very warm and friendly with me as well as the other two patients I saw in the hallway. He was very to the point in the office , the nurse and technician were great too.
He was fantastic. Gave prescription and shot. Feeling better within 24 hrs. Health improving fast.
Great doctor, very knowledgeable, very thorough. Great person A+++ highly recommend.
He was great
He was late to his office
Excluding the long for the dr, my overall experience with him was great. He's funny, respectful, and listens. Hence why I waited over an hour.
Extremely knowlegable. Very patient. Left office knowing exactly what was wrong with me.
He is a true professional!
An utter waste of time. Avoid if possible.
Dr. Govindaraj and the nursing staff are excellent and I feel confident in their skills and treatment. The front desk staff tends to become confused and is not always polite or helpful.
Hey is an awesome DR! Very pleasant, funny and obviously has the expertise to help his patients! I enjoyed my visit and felt confident in his analysis.
Called me the day I had a appointment to say that they have a issue with my GHI insurance. Say they left a message but never did even showed them my phone then say oh but I did leave one.
Finally, someone is listening to me and treating my illness properly. Expect a long wait, but well worth it.
They called me in early asking if I was available before the appointment time because the doctor wanted to leave early. I did, rushing there, looking forward to zero wait time. After the first 45 minutes, 2 other people were still before me and the doctor left unexpectedly, for about an hour. Once he came back I was seen relatively quickly, but still after the time I was originally scheduled. Seems to know what he's doing, but the wait time wow... Even the nurse and receptionist promised they would never call people in early again for him. I'm still coming in for a followup and hoping that this will not happen again. Like I said, he seems to be a good doctor nonetheless.
The doctor and his staff were nice, helpful and generally explained things well. Got a good treatment package. I hope to feel better soon. Staten Island location is a bit tucked away behind/across from CTown.
Difficulty understanding his accent, but overall an ok experience. Some of the staff was nice. One lady on staff had a nasty attitude and seemed like she took her personal problems to work in how she treated people.
Long wait time, but amazing doctor. Gave me all the prescriptions I needed and I feel much better. Worth the trip out into nowhere.
Dr. Raj was great. I had a late evening appointment and a bit of a wait, but he was worth the wait. Incredibly thorough.
Great bedside manner and very helpful. Only complaint is the wait time, I waited around an hour and a half to be seen. Hopefully this isn't the usual wait time. I will still go back because I really liked the doctor.
I would never go to this office again. The office itself was dirty, the staff was rude, and the wait time was ridiculous. Never again.
Doctor Chitoor has been my doc for over 4 years now and sometimes the wait is long but he's worth it...always gives me the treatment and meds I need. His son is also a doctor who I see occassionally for my sinuses. So it's win win!
Dr. Govindaraj is a wonderful doctor, kind and wise and he was of great help to me in so many ways. His staff is excellent too.
He is amazing very smart and made me feel calm he gave me new meds and I think I will be fine thanks dr
HE IS GREAT
Good, he is a very good doctor and you have a great service thank's
Very pleasant doctor. Friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
He was more than 2 hours late and not very thorough at all with my examination. I felt very rushed and was not satisfied with how he handled things.
Dr. Chitoor has correctly diagnosed my condition and prescribed the kind of medication that was successful at treating and getting rid of my simptoms.
IT WAS OK.
