Dr. Chris Brownlee grew up on the north side of Houston. He did his undergraduate work at Texas A&M and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
His wife, Joie, is a registered nurse working on her nurse practitioner degree. She is from Crocket, Texas and Dr. Brownlee practiced there for a while. He was then associated with a couple of practices in College Station including a large lasik surgery center.
Dr. Brownlee is a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
Dr. Brownlee is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association and the Harris County Optometric Society.
He has joined the practice permanently and expects to be here for years to come. He loves family time with Joie and their baby son, Quinton. They are beach people and go to church at Moody Methodist Church on the island.
