I love Dr Nwankwo and his staff! they are very attentive and Doctor Nwankwo make sure to address every single question you may have and spend as much time as needed with each patients. I would recommend him to everyone i know. He is very knowledgeable and very patient. Im so glad I found him.

Doctor and staff are fantastic! The doctor takes more time with each patient than is usual these days, which is great. But the downside to that is that patients sit in the waiting room FOREVER before getting in to see him. My appointment was at 10:30 and I didn't get out of there until 3pm.

A Nigerian physician of 21 years practice, Dr. Christian Nwankwo was among fifty influential minorities in business recently honoured at the 3rd Annual Awards Luncheon of the Minority Business and Professional Network, Inc.
The impressive ceremony which attracted the cream of business community in Washington and its environ took place recently at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, Washington, D.C.
Dr. Nwankwo is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Capital Primary Care, Inc. located in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
A 1980 medical graduate of University of Ibadan, the premier medical school in Nigeria and Africa, Dr. Nwankwo did his Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins Medical Institute in Baltimore, Maryland and residency programme at Howard University Hospital, Washington, D.C. In addition, he is a follow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
Dr. Nwankwo set up the Capital Primary Care Mentor Protege Programme to encourage new nurses and doctors especially foreign trained immigrant physicians. Beneficiaries of the programme include medical, nursing and physician assistant students at Howard University.
An active philanthropist, Dr. Nwankwo is involved in Health Education and Community Campaign for African immigrants and provides food and free medical services to the poor and indigent communities of Montgomery and Price Georges' counties here in the United States.
Back home in his native country Nigeria, Dr. Nwankwo's foundation provides scholarships for university education as well as sponsor a large library programme for local medical students. He runs a free two-week clinic in his hometown twice a year.
Dr. Nwankwo is married to Dr. Cecilia Nwankwo, a pediatrician and are both blessed with four children.

The doctor was fantastic. The staff were very courteous. The doctor spent a lot of time with each patient, which is very unusual these days. But I definitely felt that I had a thorough medical work-up, which is what I needed. He paid attention to what I was saying and took me seriously. This was my first visit, and I definitely plan to make him my primary care provider. The only negative aspect of this visit was the wait time. The waiting room was filled to capacity, and my wait time was almost three (3) hours. Three hours. I arrived at 10:30am for my 10:30am appointment, and didn't walk out the door until 2:00pm. Next time, I'll ask for the first appointment of the day....

This was awful! I made an appointment and walk ins were seen before me. The doctor never introduced himself this was my first time seein him. I had my annual women's appointment and he was rough and slow about everything. They were looking for equitment while i was on the table. i beleive that should have alread been set up! I will never go back again. The office staff was also very rude.

I believe that Dr. Nwankwo is a good doctor but unfortunately the presentation of the office, waiting rooms and bathroom does not correlate with his genuine concern and quality of care.

Although there was a long wait, I realized it was because he was spending extra time with patients, really caring for their needs. He seems knowledgeable, kind, and I am looking forward to my follow up. Hard working guy, I would recommend him.
