Dr. Saba grew up in the Washington, DC, area. She graduated from Wootton High School and was a National Merit Scholar. She received a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy, and finished the first Pharmacy Pediatric Residency program in the United States at Medical College of Virginia Hospitals. Dr. Saba then worked as Senior Clinical Pharmacist in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Saba diversified her expertise by working as a Medical Manager for Squibb Pharmaceuticals in the Cardiovascular Research protocols.
Dr. Saba finished her medical studies at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA, did her internship and residency at Georgetown University Medical Center, Washington, DC, followed by a one year fellowship in the Clinical Pharmacology department at Georgetown, where she did research on the genetic difference in beta receptors in asthma patients. She went into private practice in 1995, and opened her solo practice in 2000.
