Dr. Christopher Chun is a fellowship-trained interventional pain specialist who truly believes in a patient-centered approach treating a patient’s pain. His background is in Anesthesiology and he is double board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management.
Dr. Chun completed his residency in Anesthesiology and an ACGME accredited interventional Pain Management fellowship at Loma Linda University Medical Center, where the focus of patient care was based on a philosophy of “whole person care”. He continues to use this approach to use a multi-disciplinary approach in managing a patient’s pain.
He returned to North Texas, where he spent most of his childhood, in 2009, after his fellowship to start and establish Huguley Center for Pain Management, where he has served the patients of Tarrant and Johnson Counties until he decided to join Minimally Invasive SpineCARE in 2013.
Dr. Chun is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society, North American Spine Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, Texas Pain Society, Texas Medical Association and Dallas County Medical Society. He is well trained and experienced in all types of interventional pain procedures for all types of spinal disorders including injections, spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation. He also serves as a resource and consultant to other physicians in Texas and across the country regarding cutting-edge pain procedures. Dr. Chun truly believes every patient should have an individualized plan to treat their condition and works closely with other physicians and spine surgeons to provide the best possible spine care.
