A graduate of New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Kim completed her residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York. Growing up in inner-city New York inspired Dr. Kim to be a physician as she saw the great need for quality medical care for the people around her struggling with chronic illnesses.
Dr. Kim treats a variety of conditions including diabetes, hypertension, and acute care. Her clinical interests include women’s health, preventive medicine, and pathology. For her, the beauty of family medicine is having time with patients on a one-to-one basis and building an individualized healthcare plan for each patient.
With a warm and kind demeanor, Dr. Kim welcomes any questions that patients might have. Beyond just providing healthcare, she wants to truly be a supportive resource to her patients. To her, the best part of practicing medicine is waking up each day knowing she is making a difference.
