As a board-certified physician assistant, I completed my training over 16 years ago and I have specialized in mental health care, primary care, and infectious diseases in various types of practice settings in the Virginia, Maryland, and DC areas. Therefore, I am very passionate about treating patients as a whole and ensuring that their mental health is well taken care of. I also believe in practicing compassionate empathetic care. I believe in meeting patients where they are and carving out a personalized treatment goal and plan to fit each patient's mental health and medical needs.

In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
Your primary care provider should be your first-line practitioner for your mental health and medical needs. I am very passionate about treating my patients as a whole from head to toe as taking care of my patient's mental health will, for the most part, have a positive effect on their medical picture.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I am very passionate about fitness and wellness and enjoy working out with strength training and pilates. I also love to travel, explore the world, meet new people, and learn about different cultures.
