We are dedicated to providing outstanding healthcare to women of all ages and to addressing the needs that arise at every stage of life. I've been practicing in New York City for over 25 years and have enjoyed taking care of women from both traditional and alternative backgrounds who reflect the complexity and diversity of the city it self. My patients come from the tri-state area and I approach their gynecologic and obstetrical needs in a caring, individualized, and comprehensive manner. I look forward to developing long-term relationships with my patients, counseling them through all aspects of their care and, over the years, getting to know them and their families.
In 1986, I joined the faculty at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center (NY-Presbyterian) where I built a thriving private practice and taught medical students and residents. For many years, I was the OB/GYN Director of the multi-specialty Women's Center for Health. In 2004, I joined the faculty of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Luke's-Roosevelt (now Mount Sinai-Roosevelt) Hospital Center, located at 1000 10th Avenue at 59th Street. My private practice is still located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and encompasses obstetrics (including preconception counseling, pregnancy and post-partum care) and gynecology services from adolescence through menopause. My academic responsibilities include medical student and resident education, supervision of Labor & Delivery, and mentoring residents in clinical patient care. I'm a Board Certified solo practitioner in a small group of caring gynecologists.
