Dr. Carter graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 2003 and has been in private practice at American Vision Center since 2005. Dr. Carter specializes in vision care for all age groups from the very young to the very young at heart. We pride ourselves in fitting difficult contact lens prescriptions and helping every patient obtain the best possible vision. Dr. Carter did a residency at the Albuquerque VA hospital so he is able to treat most vision conditions and problems. Dr. Carter and our staff here at American Vision look forward to servicing all of your vision needs.

I highly recommend this location and Dr. Dr. Carter even called my insurance company and stood on the line with them for about 20 minutes, he was so patient and professional. Jasmine at the front desk was amazing with my kids. We will be bringing our whole family of six here!

We were greated promptly as we entered the door. The staff is friendly and works well with kids. There was no wait time. We had a very good visit for our back to school exams.
