Dr. Chan has been our family doctor for over 12 years. We love him. The only thing that is a little difficult to swallow is the long wait to see him, but that is understandable given he is so popular. He is worth the wait so we'll just set aside that much extra time for any appointment we schedule with him.

I had blood work done. The lab tech got a cotton ball soaked with rubbing alcohol, then remembered she wasn't wearing gloves. So, she placed the wet cotton ball down on the counter and put on her gloves. Then, she picked up the same cotton ball that she placed wet-side-down on the counter and wiped my arm with it (before drawing blood). I was really grossed out but didn't speak up. I know alcohol kills germs, but the five second rule shouldn't be tested in a doctor's office.

Went for appointment after seeing this doctor a for 6 months. He's always been OK. However, this time I wasn't allowed into my appointment because his office had all my billing screwed up. They outsource their billing, and they submitted my claims under another person's causing all sorts of problems. Normally, I'd be okay with problems like this, but this prevented me from receiving my ongoing medication (they wouldn't call it in) which according to the label can be dangerous. Violating this "do no harm" principle, I'll be finding another doctor. If you want someone to see once this guy will do. But if you want a doctor who will be responsible when problems arise, FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!
