Dr. Collin Cragun joined the BackFit Health + Spine team in March of 2017 shortly after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa. There he became educated in the techniques of Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson, Activator, and Toggle Recoil. He chose to attend Palmer because of its history, diverse technique curriculum, and reputation.
He grew up in Ogden, Utah, as the youngest of five children. He has always had a desire to help people and felt he could best achieve that in medical services. He first became interested in chiropractic when he visited one as part of a youth group learning about different careers. He knew from that day that chiropractic care was the avenue to achieve his dreams.
Dr. Cragun served a volunteer mission for his church to Croatia in Eastern Europe. While there, he learned to speak Serbo-Croatian. Upon returning, he resumed college and received his Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Weber State University before continuing to Palmer.
He strongly believes that chiropractic can help the body achieve a greater potential for overall health. He is especially focused on helping families and small children.
When not helping his patients, he enjoys spending time with his family and considers them among his greatest blessings. He enjoys water-skiing, swimming, Frisbee, hand drums, and listening to his wife play piano. He has a passion for languages and is fluent in Serbo-Croatian and functional in German and Spanish.
