Dr Hunter was great! He listened to me as I rattled off my symptoms, quickly assessed and diagnosed my issue, and created a treatment plan for me. I am going back next week to do the procedure he recommended. Can't wait!

Friendly and informative, although I did leave feeling rushed every time. Office staff are amazing and can't be beat.
Seemed a bit rushed to get appointment over with. Was not entirely thorough with his questioning.
it was a very good experience to be treated by some one knowledgeable and compassionate
Dr Hunter is young and energetic. He really wants to figure out how to best help me.

He's the first doctor who actually knew what my issue was. It was such a relief.

Great experience! Fantastic doctor in the heart of Manhattan/Upper East Side. Explained the plan and even drew out a diagram of what was going on with a dry erase board in the exam room. That was a first for me and he's the third pain management doctor I've seen since my accident. Would highly recommend.
We were an hour late because of traffic in nyc and he still saw me and really listened to me about my issues and got a treatment plan in place. . To notch Dr. .

Top notch :) I've been dealing with rude staff at doctor's offices my whole life, and this was the first time I felt really comfortable. The office manager personally greeted me when I was escorted to the exam room and there was no wait considering how busy the office was. Dr. Hunter is a must see for anyone in pain.

Outstanding doctor! Outstanding staff! Absolutely outstanding office!!! I can't believe doctors like him still exist in NYC. I felt relieved the moment I walked out of the office.

He is nice and his office is nice, I just didn't like the side effects from the shots for my back. Also I filled out a long survey for Pfizer and did not get 100.00 as promised. I also did not recieve some other experimental treatment he said I was enrolled for.

This office is GREAT!!!! I have been in pain since 2011 and dealing with seeing multiple doctors and dealing insurance claims... This place is a one stop shop!!! HOW LOVELY!!! Dr Hunter was knowledgeable and had answers other doctors did not.... I highly recommend seeing him!!!

He was the first pain Doc I have seen that seemed more concerned about getting to the bottom of my problem than trying to convince me to get some injection
This doctor has come from the heavens. Instead of HIM dictating what my treatment would be, we discussed things and came up with a plan together. He is an angel and understood the urgency of ny needing to get well..my sisters wedding! If only more Dr hunters were around then a lot more people will be happy with the healthcare in this country.
One of the smartest, most talented and well-trained specialists I have ever met--and I have met most of the physiatrists and pain management doctors out there. Dr. Hunter is a rare exceptional find in a city overflowing with doctors ranging from decent to mediocre. If you want a doctor invested in actually getting you better, he's the doctor to see. He's also very charming and pleasant, and he listens patiently for as long as it takes to get all the necessary information.
Was extremely thorough and took his time. I had a question that I forgot to ask and didn't remember until I got home, when I emailed him, I got an answer a few minutes later.
Very caring doctor.

Dr. Hunter was very friendly and relaxed, which helped minimize some of my anxiety. He was also very openminded and empathetic, so if you have any questions or concerns he will try and implement them into your treatment plan. I didn't wait longer than 60 seconds to see him. Overall, this is the kind of experience I would like to have at all my doctor's appointments!

I was late due to a mistake I made with zocdoc and he still tried to accommodate me, I was a ball of nerves thinking he was going to tell me I needed to see a surgeon and he calmed my nerves and assured me he will take every step possible to help me avoid surgery. Nice guy, easy going feeling in the office and very clean modern feel in the building. Def recommend him!

He's great! Would definitely recommend him
Dr. Hunter was super nice, relaxed and helpful. He was able to tell me exactly what was wrong with me (which other Dr.'s have not been able to do). I feel comfortable with his plan to get me pain free and look forward to finally feeling better!!
Been seeing Dr. Hunter for 3 months. I've had pain for over 9 years. After 2 visits, I was able to dance at my daughter's wedding and start going on walks again with my wife.
After years of seeing many dismissive, cold doctors for my herniated disc and accompanying lower back stab, I have finally found THE doctor. Dr. Hunter. I believe I called him a "unicorn" during today's meet (possibly twice). He is erudite, kind, straightforward, astute in the latest technologies to treat injuries and is impressive in every other way I can think of - not just in his medical knowledge but also in his bedside manner (an increasingly lost skill). There was less than no wait time. I walked in off the elevator and Dr. Hunter himself greeted me and walked me back to the evaluation room. He listened carefully and respectfully and used the knowledge I have of my own body to determine a course of action that made sense to both of us - not just him. Within a half hour, we had a plan for actual healing, one I had not heard before and so I left with something I haven't had in a long time: hope. And, not the false hope some doctors offer, but real, expounded upon, explained and sensible hope I can trust has a good chance of relieving me of my pain and renewing my life to more than just a functional state, but to an actual renewal, a reviving of health. In the meantime, I'll be comfortable - also something I have not felt for some time. I cannot recommend him with more enthusiasm. Dr. Hunter is intuitive and discerning, candid and sincere, intelligent and understanding. In one visit, he has restored my lost faith in the medical profession and education. If our medical schools are pumping out Docs like Hunter, we are very lucky people. Make an appointment. I will be recommending him to everyone who needs a a real doctor with real methods of healing and a real conviction to the well-being of people. Thank you, Dr. Hunter!! (Yes, he really is that good.)
