I will use 30 years of experience as a health care professional to help you make sense of your life right now. Together we can understand how you can find relief from feelings or worry, sadness or distress. This may be caused by relationship issues, work issues or general difficulties we all encounter in life.
My experience as a medical professional, business owner, spiritual practitioner and of course mental health specialist offers an opportunity for you to make changes in your life that will bring you closer to the life you want to live.
What should a new client know about working with you?
It is always my goal to build a sense of trust with my clients through compassionate listening and support. I will use all of the tools I have learned to assist you in finding the most authentic version of yourself that is available to you at this time.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We will use mindfullness practices including breath work and somatic techniques combined with active listening. Internal Family Systems will be used to explore deeper trauma at a time when this feels safe for you.
I am comfortable working with all genders and ages as well as varied life experiences.
I feel very passionate about helping people develop better relationships with others including romantic partners, children, parents and co-workers or friends. To be able to heard and understood by others is one of life’s greatest gifts.
Our work together can put you on a path to feeling heard and cared for by the most important people in your life.

I have been working with Jennifer for about a year and I am entirely grateful for the substantial change that I attribute to her services. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, relatable, non-judgmental, and overall an amazing human. She gives space to be vulnerable and honest, but I really appreciate her ability to help you shift your mindset about your perspective and why it may be holding you back. She provides multiple avenues of support that always feel customizable and flexible. I love that she provides additional resources as well, such as reading material, journaling prompts, and specific daily practices to help reinforce new concepts.

Jennifer is the best therapist I have had in my life! I had previously given up on trying to find one that I felt actually listened to me. Then I hit rock bottom and severely need mental health support. I was initially apprehensive and assumed that as a Black woman, she would not be able to understand me fully. I was wrong - Jennifer has been amazing and I could not have asked for a better therapist at a time I needed it the most.

Jennifer is a supportive force while also able to challenge my internal voice and force me to consider alternative perspectives. She's given me many resources such as well-known psychologists quotes, structures, and literature to consider outside of our sessions.
