Dr. Burke has been inspired by natural medicine since she was a young child. Growing up, she spent hours in the yard picking bunches of mint and chamomile to make her own teas. Since that time she has had many profound experiences with homeopathy, herbs, and nutrition that have allowed her to develop a deep trust in the healing power of nature. This ultimately led Dr. Burke to pursue her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon.
While at NCNM Dr. Burke had the opportunity to participate in a prestigious year-long internship in gynecology and primary care as well as a six-month internship in integrative cardiology and pulmonary medicine. She also has advanced training in classical homeopathy and herbal medicine and is a practitioner of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®, a powerful modality for digestive and reproductive health that she is excited to be able to offer to her patients.
Dr. Burke practices naturopathic family medicine and integrative primary care. Her clinical focus is women’s health, pediatrics, hormone balancing, and diabetes care, although she enjoys supporting people with all types of acute and chronic health conditions.
With her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, hiking the amazing Oregon Cascade Mountains, knitting, creating and cooking healthy recipes, and spending time with friends and family.
