About Elena Uranwala

Elena Uranwala grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She began her healthcare career as an EMT before working as an emergency department technician, then moved to Portland, Oregon, to attend the Oregon Health & Science University Physician Assistant Program. She enjoys helping patients better understand their physical and mental health so they can take an active role in their care. Outside of work, Elena enjoys exploring Oregon's forests and learning new skills (currently drumming!). She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and comfortable asking questions as they work together toward their health goals.
