Dr. Corrie Alford joined the MetroDerm, P.C. family in 2011 and specializes in general dermatology and cosmetic dermatology at our Paulding/West Cobb location.
Dr. Alford has been practicing in the metro Atlanta area since 2006, most recently at Kaiser Permanente.
Dr. Alford is a graduate of Spelman College and earned her medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine in 2002. During medical school, Dr. Alford was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, and was the recipient of the Emory University School of Medicine Dean’s Scholarship. She was also heavily involved in dermatological research with the Emory Department of Dermatology during medical school. Dr. Alford completed her residency training in dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2006. During her training, Dr. Alford made several presentations at national meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Alford is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Atlanta Association of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.

I love this office, they take their time (which is why sometimes wait time can be slow). I got one of the first appointments of the day and was actually seen BEFORE my time and out of there quickly. Dr. Alford was fantastic! There was a little bit of a wait, but it wasn't too long...and there were plenty of reading materials and a TV in the waiting room, so time went quickly. Dr. Alford explained my son's condition in a clear and easy-to-understand manner using terms and analogies that made sense to a non-medical mind, like mine. The nurse and doctor both displayed phenomenal bedside manner! She was so sweet and very gentle in treating my son, who is usually very nervous at doctor visits. I would HIGHLY recommend her to any one of my friends or anyone looking for an amazing dermatologist.
