Dr. Craig Beyer is the founder of BoulderEyes. He has the unique distinction of being one of the first 10 doctors in the country authorized to perform LASIK surgery by the FDA. Since that time, Dr. Beyer has personally performed over 15,000 LASIK surgeries and has performed thousands of other procedures that have resulted in improved vision. In 1991, he co-authored a paper for the American Medical Association that detailed LASIK surgery. He has traveled all over the world training other eye surgeons in LASIK procedures. He has a solid reputation in the Boulder area and has won the prestigious Boulder’s Best LASIK provider award every year since 2004.
