Dr Craig Ruetzel is dedicated to providing personalized care to each of his patients. After more than 20 years in group practices in the South Hampton Roads area, he now has his own office where he can do this. He knows that many patients appreciate being able to see the same doctor at each visit and develop a relationship with that doctor over the course of a pregnancy, or leading up to major surgery. He values spending time with his patients, believing that is essential in figuring out what is best for each woman.

My husband and I were in transit, passing through the area, so this was our first and last appointment but Dr. Ruetzel made sure we were good to go by looking over every piece of document we had and just took the time to talk over any concerns we might have. I've seen so many doctors / midwives throughout my 7 months but he was by far the best OB I had. Thank you for making this visit so comfortable and productive!

It's usually really awkward to go to Gynecologists, but this visit was definitely the best I've had! I'm planning to go back and I would recommend it to everyone. Dr. Ruetzel made the visit very comfortable and fun. Very knowledgable, very entertaining and very understanding. I don't think you can get a better doctor than this ladies.
