Dr. Craig Van Woerkom was welcomed to join the practice of the Pasadena Optometry Center in 2003, by the previous owner Lynn Caffrey Gabriel, O.D. He brought with him an excellence in leadership and patient care. He graduated with distinction from the Southern California College of Optometry. He was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society of the Southern California College of Optometry. He received First Prize for excellence in Optometric Research, and , RGP Contact Lens Award from the RGP Lens Institute. Dr. Van Woerkom completed his residency program in Primary Eye care and Ocular Disease at Sepulveda VA Ambulatory Medical Center. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and has published papers on topics of Retinitis Pigmentosa and Microbial Keratitis. He is also fluent in Spanish.
