This was my first time at Lone Tree Family Practice, and I am so glad that I made the switch to this office. The staff was helpful and friendly from start to finish. I was seen quickly and called back fast again for my blood draw. I was seen by Cynthia Peschong, FNP-BC this date, and she had excellent bedside manner, listened to my concerns, and provided immediate testing and results in order to address everything that I brought up. I will definitely be using Lone Tree Family Practice as my new PCP location.

I think Cynthia is one of those doctors who likes to hear herself talk, because it makes her feel like the smartest person in the room. Unfortunately that is to the detriment of her patients who get a half baked treatment from her half listening. If you have something simple and just need a doctor to sign off, she might be your girl! But if you’re looking for a doctor who knows what they’re talking about, or at least stops yapping long enough to address your concerns - look elsewhere.

Cindy has always worked very hard to make me feel comfortable every appointment. She has never left me feeling rushed, and is an attentive listener. With previous providers having left me ready to just stay home and not seek help, Cindy has restored some of my faith in medical care again!

I went in for a birth control consultation. Cynthia was the practitioner. She gave no information about options, I suggested IUD, and voiced that I was concerned about hormones, but also wanted more information about the non hormonal copper IUD. She said there was no difference I decided I wanted the mirena, for my own peace of heart. She then went into a rant about blood clots and said NO, I'm going with the copper. So much for my body, my choice. She took out a swab, demonstrated how to use it, put it back in the opened package, and then scurried me to the bathroom. I thought she would give me a new, untampered with swab. It was also a test that shouldn't be performed by a young girls self. It should have been done professionally. She forgot about one of the two tests I came in to take, and unhesitantly announced my results loudly in the hall. When I was in the bathroom doing the test, staff were talking about my medical details very loudly in the hallway. I was violated and judged
