Dr. Dale Ragle has been a trusted family physician in the Dallas area since 1991. Families from across the DFW Metroplex seek his care because he is known for providing a personal touch in the midst of today’s high-tech health care atmosphere. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Ragle served in the United States Air Force for four years. He is board-certified in family medicine and serves as chairman of Family Practice at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.
Dr. Ragle has been recognized for providing a medical home environment that promotes quality in care coordination and communication. Additionally, he places a high priority on providing wellness and disease prevention strategies for individuals of all ages. He received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his family medicine residency at The UT Health Science Center at Houston/San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown.

Quick and easy to book for next day appt. Great bedside manners and got into see the doctor right away. Got treated and prescription for my concerns. Did not enjoy having to pay for parking. But much better that I was before!

I went to see Dr. Ragle for a physical with some extra tests for a medical clearance process I'm going through. The receptionist told me the Zoc Docs often don't show so they had not confirmed me for an appointment (even though I had called them on Monday to tell them I'd need some extra tests done). I waited over an hour, and he spent less than 10 minutes with me - I tried to tell him my medical history but he did not seem to care. He ordered the tests but forgot 3 different tests so I had to go back in to the nurses and show them which tests I needed done.

Dr. Ragle was very professional and knowledgeble in regards to his expertise. He was attentive and concerned with my health. He was able effectively and efficiently take care of my issue. I would recommend him for any family.

Dr. Ragle is great as a PCP, he's very patient and efficient. His office staff on the other hand is absolutely terrible- in the 3 times I've visited I've been met with an annoyed receptionist, lazy nurse and the rest of the staff I found to generally be uncaring and less than helpful. Today I called to try and book a follow-up appointment for an emergency room visit and Alicia wouldn't book my appointment as I did not have the PO Box information for my insurance. I offered her the direct number to contact and verify my insurance and she refused. It's disgusting that the staff is so lazy and generally unhelpful when the doctor is so great to work with. Unfortunately after this last experience I won't be visiting this practice anymore.

I waited 45 minutes to get into a room, and once I did I waited 1 hour for the doctor, by the time we wrapped everything up I had been there 2.5 hours.
The doctor himself was very nice, and seemed to be genuine. They need to work on that wait time tho!

It was for a physical checkup. I checked in at 9:15, having filled out all forms and a health questionnaire at Zocdoc and brought a copy for the receptionist. I waited until 11:00 for Dr. Ragle. I felt painful and couldn't move for a few seconds when he checked my rectangle - he thrust his finger too fast, I believe. Overall, the regular physical checkup was cursory and Dr. Ragle spent more time filling out the form than talking to me. I won't come back again. To be fair, he is very busy today. The above is just my personal experience.

Being that this was my first visit, everything went quite well, and I hope to keep him as my Primary Care Physician. Where doctors I have previously seen did not put me on medications for my hbp, he did, which showed to me that he cares enough about my health to help me prevent problems now. He also put me on chantix to stop smoking. I'm on day 8 of no cigarettes/nicotine products and it's working well aside from the nausea (a common side effect). I am going in for a follow up with him in less than 2 weeks. See you then Dr Ragle.
