Dr. Dana Kolton is board certified in ophthalmology and a member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Dr. Kolton graduated from the University of Illinois, Chicago Medical School and served her residency in ophthalmology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Kolton completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Dr. Kolton treats ocular disease in infants, children and adults. She is trained to surgically repair misaligned eyes, open blocked tear ducts and remove congenital cataracts. Dr. Kolton also performs routine eye examinations and fits contact lenses on children and teens.
Dr. Kolton possesses a wonderful “bedside” manner, which both patient and parent appreciate. Her careful review and explanation of any diagnosis, as well as her treatment recommendation, reassure parents that their children are in good hands.
Dr. Kolton and her husband Larry love to travel.
