I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After High School I joined the U.S. Army and served in Germany and the Middle East. I returned to Albuquerque to attend the University of New Mexico where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. From there I traveled to L.A where I attended Medical School at the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. After medical school, I moved to Florida and from the moment I arrived in this community, I knew this was where I wanted to live, work, and raise a family. My goal is simple. I want to give your family the same care and respect that I would want for mine.

I waited over an hour, when I was finally seen by the doctor, he barely examined me nor did he have any desire to discuss my symptoms and I found his personality to be arrogant. The best doctors listen to their patients.

This was my initial visit to Dr. Dodson and I was very pleased. His medical assistant apologized for my long wait due to the training of new staff an an extraordinarily busy morning. Dr. Dodson was very personable, engaging and direct. He explained the best method to have my needed procedure performed to my financial benefit. The one improvement I would suggest would be to offer online completion of the initial eight pages of paperwork. Overall I was very pleased.

Given that my previous primary care physician refused to return ANY of our calls over the past 3 months when I was in and out of the hospital and had my leg amputated, Dr. Dodson was a welcomed change. He took time with us and didn't seem deterred that I am a very complex patient. Looking forward to working with him. Ken Larson
