Ashley Lans is proud to be a member of Circle Medical, a digital-first, patient-focused experience that makes quality care more accessible than ever. She holds a Master’s in Nursing from South University, which has equipped her with the knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive care.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
It’s vital to build healthy patient-provider connections to provide holistic care, supporting wellness of both mental and physical health. My goal is also to educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
I love helping others. I’m passionate about delivering accessible, quality health care and helping to eliminate health disparities. I embrace patient involvement in care decisions. My goal is to help patients achieve their desired health goals by providing patient teaching about acute and chronic conditions and their management to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
My family and I love to travel to new places. I enjoy trying various fitness classes such as kickboxing, CrossFit, and Zumba. I also appreciate occasional massages and spa days because self-care is very important!

My rating for the office was a 1 because I saw my PCP virtually. Ashley Lans, FCP-BN was amazing! She was personable, friendly, and made me feel very comfortable. She explained information in such a way that I was able to understand as a lay person. Overall, wonderful experience. If I have any future concerns, I will schedule with her. I will also continue to see her for my annual physicals!

I had to ask the provider her name. The provider pointed out that the ID entered was for my mother and not myself. She asked me to input my id on the ap. When I tried to input my id on the ap it would not allow me to make the change. When I asked the provider for assistance she was totally unhelpful. She did not know the workings of the ap. She would not provide an alternate to submitting my ID. She could not tell me if I would be charged for this totally unacceptable visit. She did not provide any contact persons for me to speak with about the situation. I would not recommend this group of PAs, Nurse Practioners to anyone. This was a horrible experience. I will seek a different provider. The zocdoc was not helpful. The Circle Medical Ap was not easily navigated and not intuitive whatsoever. This was a horrible experience.
