He is a good Doctor but The wait time in his office was more than 4 hours and his secretaries told me this is the way he works and he is very busy.

He was knowledgeable but he came 2 hours late and didn't even apologize for me waiting. No one told me he was running 2 hrs late and had me sitting there until very last minute which was inconsiderate. I guess since they started off I wouldn't be able to leave. He said my eye was good but I still feel certain pain on my eye occasionally.

First visit was great. Next two visits the wait took up my entire morning and early afternoon they open at 10am. Got seen at 1pm. I had to reschedule and still waited more than an hour. Staff needs to be more professional some shopping online in the front desk or on their phones during check up. It's just really annoying and pointless to book appointments to go through all that. Looking for a new place.

While I found Dr. Khodadadian to be knowledgeable and informative. I also thought the scheduling of patients is much to be desired. I understand with being a first-time patient, the doctor may require additional tests, however, the appointments should be booked accordingly.

this office was not run well when i visited for a routine eye exam. it was really understaffed. all his patients were waiting for a very, very long time. the worst part was he made me come back because he couldn't finish all of my tests in one visit, which i've never experienced before with any other eye doctors. i was asked to pay another office visit fee the second time, which i refused to do before discussing with the doctor. i never even got to that point because the wait was so incredibly long, i literally walked out without seeing the doctor!

The receptionist and assistance are nice and professional! Though I waited for nearly two hours to be seen. Dr. Khodadadian apologized for the long wait and even handed me gifts for that. He played classical music while treating patients, very calm, nice, and knowledgable. Highly recommend him to anyone!!!
Updated review. I now see what the other reviewers were talking about in their negative reviews, and I believe it depends on which staff is present. Went in today for my 10-day follow up check up appointment and to pick up my eyeglass prescription. Not only was I asked to come in at 10 for my 11:30 appointment and waited an hour for one of the receptionists to even acknowledge my check-in, the two younger girls (sisters) that now sat at reception this time (the two young women that were here at my last visit were nicer and more professional) seemed to not care or want to really help the other patients in the waiting room that were all told to come early (some as early as 9:00 and had already been waiting an hour and a half by the time I showed up) and already complaining, the doctor didn't show up until 11:20. One of the girls' replies to an elderly patient who had complained was that she should know it's at least an hour wait at any doctor's office, and there was no apology or explanation after that. Another patient got upset and asked to cancel because he couldn't wait any longer and had to pick up his son; upon asking to change his appointment, the girl actually tried to dissuade him and asked why he had to cancel, making it difficult for him to reschedule so he ended up staying, using the rest of his wait time making calls to arrange for his son. Then at one point, she went around to every patient (and she is clearly not a medical assistant, but perhaps a family member working as receptionist it seems) with eye drops saying they had to take a dry eye test. When she came to me, I said I had just had it done 10 days ago, and she said everyone has to do it each time; I said I do not want to do it again, and thought it was very unprofessional that not only was she not any sort of medical assistant about to administer drops into my eyes, she didn't ask my name, the reason for my visit, or even ask if I was wearing contacts, which I was. I could have had pink eye or some contagious eye disease for all she knew, yet she was about to put this stuff arbitrarily into my face! As I write--because I'm still sitting here waiting and my 11:30 appointment time has passed--another elderly woman is fighting with her saying she has been waiting two hours, only to have the girl tell her that in the future she should schedule for Wednesdays because they're not as crowded, and the elderly woman snapped back that Sunday is her only day off. I'm annoyed but resigned at this point, and can only sit here and find it comical. I find solace at least in the fact that Dr. Khodadadian is great and that I only have to come here once a year, if that. Perhaps by next year when I need to renew my prescription I'll go elsewhere. Which is a shame because the doctor is really great, but who can sit around wasting time like this to see him?
I had a great experience overall and will continue to go. My appt was for 11 but I did a series of tests before seeing the doctor himself at 12:30. So even though in paper it looks like I "waited" a long time to see the doctor, I didn't actually spend much time sitting and waiting in the waiting room; I did test after test, asked questions of the staff, and saw the doctor immediately after. All tests were explained to me prior to doing them and if I felt uncomfortable doing any particular test, I was told I did not have to at that time. All you have to do is ask questions or express your concerns and the doctor and his staff are more than helpful in their transparency and willingness to help. All costs for anything outside of my copay were also made clear and optional to me, with cost-effective alternatives offered without my having to ask (ex: the doctor said the prescription eye drop he suggest I try is normally quite expensive if it isn't covered by my insurance, so if I get to the pharmacy and find out it wasn't covered, he offered to prescribe a similar medication that may help that might be covered or at least is not as expensive). The doctor was very thorough, patient, and kind, and he answered all of my questions in full detail. I did not feel rushed or felt like the bedside manner was lacking whatsoever. Overall, I had a positive experience despite any apprehension I may have had initially based on a few of the seemingly negative reviews I read prior to going to my appointment. But knowing what I know now, I think it just comes with the territory of the type of specialist you are seeing to expect some preliminary exams before seeing the doctor; not all visits are alike and seeing an opthalmologist is not like going to the dentist for a cleaning. If you just want to go in, get a prescription for eyeglasses, and walk out, you can go to Cohen's. If you're seeing an opthalmologist for a more in-depth visit regarding your eye health, you should expect there to be some test, right? I also think that just asking questions or knowing your rights as a patient are enough to open an amicable dialogue between yourself and your physician in which you feel comfortable and heard when expressing concerns about your health and your visit, regarding everything from treatment to payment. Dr. Khodadadian was friendly and professional, and likewise, so was his staff. I will continue to see Dr. Khodadadian as my eye care specialist.
My appointment was for 11am, the intern got me in the back around 11:20ish, he was professional and sweet. After he performed all the test that was required, which took less then 15 minutes, I had to wait for the doctor to give me my results. Doctor came in minutes after 12pm. So when he came in I was waiting for my results. It was almost 2pm and I still didn't get my results, I walked out.
I went to have a stye looked at and ended up at the office for 3 HOURS even though there were only 2 other patients. The doctor's assistants seemed to be his own children that he was training, but unfortunately they spent most of the time slowly figuring out what to do with me next. Also, he insisted that he couldn't write me a prescription for contacts unless I came back for a follow up visit. That is difficult for me because I have an hourly paid job and cannot afford to sit in the Dr.'s office for 3 hours. I was so flustered and hungry by the time I left, that I didn't remember to get a new eyeglass prescription which was another reason I went. So in the end, I feel like going to this doctor was a huge waste of my time.

What I imagined to be an easy routine, contact lens renewal appointment, turned out to be the worst three hours of my life. The service was beyond horrible. If there was an option for no stars, that would be my rating. His assistant tried to perform tests on my eyes that i refused, and then, the doctor himself tried to offer services that were completely irrelevant to what i made the appointment; all refused. Then a month later, i got a statement that listed all of the services that were never performed! He is just trying to get more from the health insurance carrier. He was in my network and all i asked for was a prescription for contacts, so this is UNREAL! Please go to another doctor and tell all you friends not to go. TOTAL SCAM!! Im am appalled!
Aweful! Aweful! I waited about two hours for the doctor to arrive. Then when he finally came in he did the diagnosis just as the optometrist in a eyeglass store would do it for free. He then sent a lengthy bill to my insurance company stating he performed some surgical thing. Of course the insurance company rejected it. His office then sent me a bill as well.. Just Aweful service. AVOID at all cost.

It was honestly a long wait but I didn't mind it was a great visit I got to learn a lot about the human eye that I did not know of. I liked the honesty of the personal not rude at all. In overall loved it definitely going back and also highly recommend it.
There was alot of back and forth from room to room, the staff seemed unsure of what they were doing, the female attendant accidently hit me in the face with one of the machines and the wait to see the doctor was ridiculously long.

I had 3 appointments with him all bad experiences with this doctor. AND to make a long story short, the third visit will be my last visit with him. I will talk about him to my friends so they won't go through the same experience I'd been. Very very very BAD practice doctor. You are a disgrace of your profession. Shame on you.

I was very pleased with my visit to Dr. Khodadadian. The office and staff is welcoming and pleasant. As a new patient transferring from a doctor I had been seeing for six years, I was apprehensive. Dr. Khodadadian performed all of the diagnostic tests my previous doctor did and I was reassured by his thoroughness. He has an excellent bedside manner and is extremely patient in his explanations. I would absolutely recommend him!
The doctor made sure to explain what was wrong with me eyes in terms I would understand and the full range of options I had for treatment. He explained the difference between soft lenses, hard lenses, and glasses (I haven't needed corrective lenses until this visit) and the pros and cons of each of them. He also put a high emphasis on my comfort level with each of the options and referred me to a specialist that could help me even more in figuring out what was wrong with my eyes. I am going back for a follow up because he wants to make sure the lenses he gave me are comfortable and effective for me and to run more tests, so that he can get an even more complete understanding of my case.

A bit unprofessional and untidy. Tests done in waiting room/ lobby seemed odd. Put contact lenses in myself in the bathroom while eyes were numb and dilated. Did not inform me of the purposes of tests performed.
Do not go to this doctor! Perhaps his other offices are better serviced, but this doctor is more concerned with having multiple offices than actually treating patients with quality care. My first visit, the staff dialated my eyes without informing me that they were doing this procedure and that it would have lasting effects for the next 2 hours. When I was upset about this, they effectively denied any sort of thing. Their files are not digital and cannot be easily transferred to other offices (or even referenced ) if you call on a day that that particular office that you visited is not open. In addition to exorbitant fees, the office offered to buy my contact supplies for me. I thought this was easiest as well. A few months later when I needed to buy more, I ordered online at 1-800-Contacts. It was substantially cheaper. The office was not only making a profit off of my visit but also marking up the packages of contacts for me to purchase! Overall, I would not recommend this opthamologist to anyone. I had a terrible experience here.
Very unapologetic and self important. Two hours late both visits, staff is also rude. The actual care or condition of the eye is not considered, only quick routine type check up with uncertified assistants.
The staff called me to come in an hour earlier because the office wanted to close early due to weather conditions, of course I agreed. I rush out of work to get there and had to wait and an hour and a half, 30 minutes after my original scheduled time. The doctor himself was very unprofessional, he must have answered his cell phone at least 5 times in the middle of the appoinment and he was really rude with his assistant yelling at her in front of patients about the way she had set up his chair. Just overall really bad experience I would not recommend him to anyone I know.

Beside the long wait, I was surprise by the amount of technology they use on you in order to find out what is going in with your eyes, I had an infection, which was BAD but the doctor calm me down and gave me antibiotics right away! Explained to me thoroughly what it meant to have infortrack or ulcer....but was nice enough to give me try on of daily contacts. Deffinitely confused back.

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT DOCTOR. I WAS SKEPTICAL AT FIRST BUT HE IS THE ONLY DOCTOR IN THE PAST 3 YEARS THAT ACTUALLY SOLVED MY PROBLEM AND DID SOMETHING FOR ME. HE'S A BUSY DOCTOR BUT THE SERVICE I RECEIVED WAS GREAT AND I FEEL SATISFIED AND FINALLY A DOCTOR WHO KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING.I THANK HIM A MILLION.

Terrible experience - the office was disorganized. I was seen right away by the assistants (who were very nice) and then after they gave me the dilation drops I waited over TWO HOURS (as did at least 5 other people) before I was seen by Dr. Khodadian, who was incredibly brusque with me, saw me for about two minutes and gave me a prescription despite the fact that I didn't have a chance to give him almost any feedback about the lenses. I wish I could get my insurance back, what a waste. Now I have to do the whole thing again and I don't know if I can have it covered. It was miserable, I cried in the waiting room.

I had an appointment at 4:30. The doctor left the office at 4:45 and didn't come back until 5:30. No explanation was given and when I brought it up no apology was offered. This is totally unacceptable.

I thought Dr. K was very helpful and knowledgable however, the wait and his staff's interaction with me made my visit extremely frustrating. When I asked how much longer after waiting for almost an hour they were rude and abrupt with me. They said, "its called a waiting room for a reason", I can't think of a ruder response.
