This visit and the subsequent follow up that they made me do were awful. The Dr himself is ok, but everyoneelse running the business really made the experiences unpleasant. They were opaque about their charges and called me probably 6 times for my serving appointment to "schedule" an appointment that I had already set up. Would not recommend this office to anyone unless needed an optometrist in this area.

Don't waste your time. This place is a zoo. The staff is completely incompetent. After wasting an hour of my time filling out all sort of paperwork, was finally told that they don't integrate with zocdoc and don't have any record of my appointment. Hilarious!

Dr. Bley was not in but I met with Dr. Julia Alexandrov who was extremely professional along with her staff. The office was clean and all staff treated everyone with a great level of respect including the HVAC representitive. Thank you ZocDoc.

I was considering lasik with Dr Bley. He was extremely informative about the procedure and took the time to answer my questions. He introduced me to his entire team and I got a tour of the surgery room. All and all it increased my comfort level with the surgery.

MD Bley is highly advertised among the Russian speaking community as one of the best eye surgeons. However, I would not recommend him because of my mother's two eye surgeries experience. Initially, MD Bley promised that after cataracts surgeriesmy mother will be able to read without glasses and her vision will be perfect. We decided to do both cataracts removal and vision accommodation laser surgeries. Eventually, we ended up with just little better vision, and my mother still needs glasses to read. Also, Brooklyn Eye Surgery Center has very poor management: my mother was waiting to be called to the surgery for full four hours for the left eye surgery! For the right eye surgery she has been waiting for two and half hours! Just skip this place and find some better facility.

Wow I have never been treated so poorly by a medical staff than this place. I have no complaints about the doctor, but please pay attention to the receptionists and assistants you hire! I made a phone call to ask aboutthe different charges on the statement and the receptionists had no ability to explain (which would have been fine if she just deferred it to someone else who could explain and help me). Oh boy but instead this woman named Valerie started to raise her voice and was shouting at me over the phone for asking simple questions about the different cost items. This type of customer service behavior is not acceptable! If you need someone to ruin your day, Valerie probably would be your best bet.

There is something to be said about doctors who really CARE. Dr. Nerry Nayzov was the most patient doctor ever! I would recommend him to anyone. I had to get a piece of metal removed from my eye. I had afew small panic attacks and he was very helpful and nonjudgemental. He did a wonderful job and got the metal out in a half a second (once I finally could keep still). Dr. Bley also gave me a much needed pep talk that helped calm me.

I needed to get an eye examination to renew my driver's license. It took 2 months to get the document mailed to me and the receptionists either don't know what the proper protocal is or are rude about giving excuses asto why it takes so long to get the paperwork filled out.

Very poorly run office. My appointment was at 1pm but didn't get to leave about 90 minutes later, most of the time was spent in waiting. I was shoveled between the waiting area to the doctor's office and then back tothe waiting area and then back to a different doctor's office.. In the an hour and half time, I saw the doctor for like 30 seconds. All other time, I saw one intern, one another doctor, and one clueless/rude/in-patient office girl multiple times. They all told me different information: 1) Intern: you need the field exam, 2) Office girl: you don't need the field exam, 3) Doctor: you can go after taking photos of your eye, 4) Office girl: oh, no, you have to wait for the doctor to see your eye photos before you can go... 5) Another doctor: I will see you shortly to finish up all the exams -- only I found out that doctor never returned!! It's utterly disrespectful to the patient time and feeling. And by the way, the waiting area's sofa stinks and looks so dirty. I am so angry and disappointed. Never again this place.

Terrible. Even though the doctor was efficient they made me wait for too long. Later at the pharmacy they contacted the office to clarify something on the prescription they said they d return the cal in five minutes. Never called back.I waited for fifteen minutes and then called them- they said they ll call the pharmacy in five minutes. Then the pharmacists called and they said sure the prescription is right. Harrowing experience. Lost so much time

Seemed chaotic. I was handled piece-meal, handed off between parts of the examination as the nurse took care of and then the Dr. During each transition there was about a 10 minute wait in between. Not overjoyed.

Bring your zocdoc confirmation with you!!! I was told in the office that I didn't have appointment and I didn't bring the zocdoc confirmation but they did me a "favor" and let me wait for almost an hour and "squeezed" me in! Never booking thru zocdoc again with this doctor
