More about Dr. Daniel Tulman, OD
Dr. Tulman grew up in North Carolina and received his B.S. in mechanical engineering at N.C. State University. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where he also served as student council president and was a member of the honor society.
After working in Atlanta, Dr. Tulman established his practice in Lithia Springs in 1978. He is a member of the Metro-Atlanta Optometric Society, the Georgia Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. He has served in many elected and appointed offices, including President of the Georgia Optometric Association. He has, or is currently serving as a member of the GOA Board of Trustees, Southern Council of Optometrists Board of Trustees, and Blind and Low Vision Board of Directors. Dr. Tulman has been honored as Board Member of the Year for Blind and Low Vision Services and as Georgia’s Optometrist of the Year. He has received numerous optometric honors and citation of merit.
Dr. Tulman served as a preceptor for the University of Alabama’s College of Optometry. He was chosen as one of the optometrist to serve on the medical team for the 1996 Olympic Games, treating athletes from across the world.
For over twenty years, Dr. Tulman has provided kids, teens, and adults with the highest quality eye care available. The practice utilizes the most current technology in a friendly and caring office environment.
