Dr. Holmes was incredibly warm, sincere, and took the time to sit with me and answer any questions I had. She also printed out followup information and materials for me to take home which I thought was great. I felt very comfortable with her and left the office feeling like I found a great doctor. I'm looking forward to going back to her in the future.

First off, I too am a healthcare professional and am very critical of all of my practitioners....
There was a lot of miscommunication with Zocdoc and the practice. I received a call and text from the practice to remind me of an appt one week earlier than the confirmed date in zocdoc. I was able to clear my schedule to make the appointment and I am glad that I did! Dr. Holmes was incredibly personable, matter of fact, our interview felt more as if chatting w friends than an annual checkup. She was very thorough and asked f/u questions when necessary to clearly understand my history and concerns. I typically am quite tense during papsmears which makes the process uncomfortable. This time around was better than most. We chatted during he entire pap and before I knew it, it was over. Apart from her ability to connect with her patients on a personal level, she is well informed, professional, and thorough. I have already recommended her to my friends for GYN needs.

Dr. Danielle A. Holmes joined Women to Women, PC in September of 2008. She is fulfilling her lifelong dream of providing personalized medical care to a variety of patients. Dr. Holmes was raised and attended school in Connecticut. She then matriculated at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She then returned to Connecticut to attend Medical School and the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. During her time there, Dr. Holmes was awarded the Charlotte Johnson Hollfelder Award in Women's Health, the John Dempsey Hospital Auxiliary Award and the Surgical Simulation Award in Laparoscopy.
Dr. Holmes has pursued some of her interests in International Health. She conducted research on breast feeding in Tanzania and research on cervical dysplasia in Nigeria. This gave her a greater understanding of the universal nature of Women's Health.

Dr. Holmes is terrific -- very professional and knowledgable, and wonderful, sympathetic bedside manner. Her office staff seems knowledgable and professional as well. But the office is dirty and run down, and the furniture and equipment -- like chairs, desks, scaled, light fixtures -- are outdated and scuffed. The office could use some paint and a good scrubbing. While this isn't a big deal, it could be a turn off to some patients.

Dr. Holmes is a fantastic doctor, she is friendly and she is always willing to answer my numerous questions. My only complaint has to do with the professionalism of the front desk staff. On each of my three or four visits to her office I have noticed that they NEVER smile at patients, they are short tempered and snappy. I rarely get a person when I call, and they don't even stagger lunch so that someone always answers the phone. I expect a certain friendliness from anyone who interfaces with customers/patients and they do not have that at all.

She really listened to your concerns and provided great resources. I went in for a wellness exam and for birth control counseling as I was considering of switching methods. She really took the time to answer my questions and I didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable at all during examination. My appointment time was at 2:40 and called in at 2:45. The entire visit took about an hour and I was a new patient. Parking is tough as the office is connected to a hospital and you had to pay for hospitsl's garage parking ($5).

Really felt very comfortable with Dr. Holmes, she sat down and took the time to speak with me about my concerns. I had to wait 45 minutes to be seen but hopefully that was a one time occurance.

The experience was really negative, mostly due to the office staff. First they changed my appointment day without asking me first. Then when I got there, more than one person came in & was told, oh, your appointment is 2 hours from now, which was a surprise to the person who came in. Then I asked specific questions to be answered by lab work. They didn't call, so I called them, but only got a partial answer with a promise to call back. Then they called me later starting from scratch (their regularly scheduled lab results call) and still didn't answer my question. I called again, and was put on hold, then ended up in someone's voicemail. Dr. Holmes is fine although she jumped to a conclusion about what was causing my problem and really didn't consider my input. But hey I'm just the patient, what do I know.

I was early from my appointment but was seen right away. Since I was a new patient Dr Holmes met with me and spoke to me in her office before the exam, I've never had a doctor do this but I really appreciated it. She was easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend Dr Holmes!

I really like Dr. Holmes as my OBGYN. She's professional, knowledgable, and caring. The biggest negative with the office in general is that they do tend to run behind due to the large volume of patients seen. I will continue to go there due to the good care I've received over the years.

My visit with Dr. Holmes was very professional, pleasant and friendly. This was my first visit, and I'm pleased to state that I was very impressed and statisfied with the level of service from her and the staff. I like that she took the time for consultation before the exam. She also made you feel relaxed and as the exam was in progress she explained what she was doing and why.
